| ~ Our Services ~ ~Interior Decorating Consultation~ Upon scheduling an appointment, I will come to your home to evaluate the room(s) for prospective interior decorating. I will work within your budget and help you develop a plan for your interior decorating project. There is a free half hour, in-home decorating consultation. There is a travel charge of $50.00 for counties outside Suffolk. After the first half hour the fee is $75.00 per hour. ~Interior Decorating Service~ The interior decorating service begins with a second visit to your home to go over the budget and decorating plan describing how I have interpreted your needs and wishes for the projected outcome of the room. The fee for this visit and the decorating plan is $200.00. It is during this time that a contract will be entered into, should you wish to go forward with the interior decorating. ~Shopping Services~ If you would like me to accompany you while you are shopping for your home, whether for a decorating plan I do for you, decorating you will do on your own, or for seasonal decorations, there is a $25.00 per hour fee. ~Interior Redesign Consultation~ A redesign is done using the furniture and accessories you already own. I move everything in the room, according to an agreed upon plan, and may "shop" other areas of your home to accomplish this. The redesign consultation is much like the interior decorating consultation. I will evaluate the room(s), discuss what you would like to change, and find out what other rooms in your home are available to be "shopped" for the redesign room. I will use this information to prepare a redesign plan. The fee for this consultation is $75.00 per hour.** ~Interior Redesign~ Upon completion of my report, I will come to your home and go over the plan and make sure you are happy with my interpretation of the redesign. As an alternative, you can purchase the plan from me, and perform the redesign yourself. The fee for the redesign is $75.00 per hour, per room. (Average estimated time is 3-4 hours for the redesign of one room). *The fee for the plan will vary depending on how many rooms and the size of the room. **There is a $50.00 travel charge outside of Suffolk County. ~Home Staging Consultation~ A staging consultation is offered for homeowners who are selling their homes. Because of this it will usually involve the whole house. I will objectively evaluate the home, and give my recommendations in a report for the proposed staging. We specialize in owner occupied home staging. The fee for the staging consultation is payable at the end of the consultation. The fee for this consultation is a flat fee of $200.00.* ~Home Staging~ If you would like for me to do the staging, the fee is $75.00 per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours. Home Staging fees are payable upon completion of staging. *There is a $50.00 travel charge outside of Suffolk County. Home Staging services are tax deductible! Visit the IRS website for Publication 523, Selling Your Home. ~Color Consultation ~ A color consultation is an on-site scheduled meeting to discuss and choose color for interior surfaces. Other decorating choices may be considered and discussed. Usually a 1 hour appointment is necessary for consulting on one room; 3 or 4 hours on a set of rooms (times are approximate). The consultation includes a tour and evaluation; color selection; color location; and painter referrals. The fee for this consultation is $75.00 per hour, with a 1 hour minimum.* *There is a $50.00 travel charge outside of Suffolk County. ~E-consultation~ An e-consult is much like an in-home consultation but can be more convenient. You request a redesign e-consultation by sending an e-mail to kathyp@creativehomeexpressions.com. You will then receive a PayPal invoice for this service at the e-mail address you have provided. If you prefer a different method of payment, just let me know. Once your payment and room details (measurements, pictures, etc.) are received a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you, along with a questionnaire and any further information I feel I may need. Within a week to ten days, you will receive your completed e-consult which will include a simple floor plan, a written plan and a budget, (if you are looking to purchase some new items) along with tips for putting your redesign plan into action. The fee for the e-consultation is $75.00 (1 room) ~ A La Carte ~ You may be interested in a combination of services, whether it is a couple of hours to help you come up with a plan or shopping for those final finishing touches, I would be happy to assist you no matter how big or small your project. The fee varies based upon services required. ~Assistants ~ An assistant or two will be required for certain jobs and installations. There is a $25.00 per hour, per assistant fee.
